SoCert in the detergets field

In certifying this kind of products, defining applicable related parameters was the most difficult task.  It was necessary to avoid reducing the value of certification by making all products suitable for the «guarantee seal».

Parameters employed by SoCert in this field require that the following salient elements be respected:

• Ingredients must come from organic farming or, if they are not organic, they must comply with a list of conditions.
• Transformation processes of the raw materials and of the semi-finished products must comply with a list of conditions.
• A set minimum percentage of all plant-based ingredients used must come from organic farming                          >=95%
• A set minimum percentage of the total composition making up the finished product must come from organic farming        >= 10%  
• There must be a set maximum percentage of water in the finished product
                                            <= 80%
