SoCert in the cosmetics field

Parameters employed by SoCert in this field require that the following salient elements be respected:

• Use of ingredients from organic agriculture or of ingredients authorized as included in a positive list, when not organic.
• Use of manufacturing processes for raw materials and semifinished products, if authorized as included in a positive list.
• Minimum percentage of infredients from organic agriculture on the total amount of ingredients subject to certification, not lower than 80%

• Minimum percentage of infredients from organic agriculture on the total amount of all the ingredients of the finished product, ranging from 3 to 20%, in accordance with the product

• Percentage of certifed cosmetics on the whole range of cosmetics produced by the company, higher than 10% (50% within four years)
